Composed with the natural spirit of jazz in mind, this snare solo playfully mirrors the virtuosic jazz piano line of Aaron Goldberg's "Oam'S Blues". Based upon a loose format of improvisation, the solo intricately combines traditional and hybrid rudiments in a non-traditional context.
Disclaimer: some sections of this solo are simply absurd.
(So, it’s okay to make up a few parts if you feel like it)
This spirit of this piece is not about perfection, it’s about having fun.
Open invitation to embellish with any tasteful rhythmic liberties, sticking, or visuals you enjoy.
